After its cancellation, Kyla should have no memory of his past. She wonders what future it may consider. However, memory bits return him with disturbing dark spots. And when a mysterious man she knew before erasing reappears in her life, she says she will finally understand where it comes from. But the more she learns about herself, her future becomes more confused.
While Volume 1 contained more questions than action, I had enjoyed.
Volume 2 reads even faster. Indeed, we find our heroine, Kyla, which gradually finds memory bits. Memories lead to many questions. Kyla is lost and does not know whom to trust.
Very quickly, she realizes that she has known her biology teacher, Mr. Hatten or Nico, representative of the LRU who desired to release the United Kingdom from the yoke of Lorders. Meanwhile, Kyla still suffering as the disappearance of Ben and tries by all means to know what happened to him.
We learn more about Kyla, as and as his memories return and the character gains depth. This second volume makes the actions and twists. Frankly, we did not have time to get bored and dice the first pages, you find APPE by history to the point of not letting the book before the end. This is particularly due to the fact that the author chose to make ultra short chapters. For cons, I do not know if it’s related to the author or an average translation, but I found the writing style pretty average with sometimes awkward turns of phrase. I wait still the third installment impatiently.
