Review:

The Half Blood Prince by J.K Rowling is a great read. It sets up the seventh perfectly and intensifies the war and intrigue in ways no one could have imagined. The character development is surprising, and actually makes you take notice of how less you knew until this book. Dumbledore and Voldemort are fleshed out to a point we hadn’t understood before, and if possible, makes Dumbledore even more affable. He signifies all that is good and loving and caring in the world, and Tom Riddle is his complete opposite in every way. Voldemort is pure malevolent, but he never crosses the line of becoming a travesty of the villain. His cruelty to small children, his attraction of the teachers, his killing of his own family, his desperation to attain immortality at the cost of innocent lives, it almost engulfs the reader to see such a character flourish in the world of wizards. Moreover, Slughorn was one of the best additions to the books and his pleasant smarm added wit and warmth to as poradically chilling book. He wasn’t hateful like Ambridge, irritating like Lockhart, opposed like Lupine. He knew exactly what he wanted and had no doubts using the kids to do it, and for some reason, it was very entertaining to watch his tricks disclosed.
And of course, more Ginny means more enjoyment. She’s by far one of the finest characters in the whole series. Ginny represents strength and courage possibly more than any other character in the series, and always looks after those that are bullied and demeaned.

I really love this book! This book reserved me wanting more, I am so agitated about the movie coming out! This book was a roller coaster of emotions, there is happy, sad, and love. This is a very mysterious, devious book I fell in love with. This book reminds me of all of my friends in a weird way, and even some of my family members. I love that finally you know more about Voldemort and his history other than him just being the harsh, evil ruthless guy but this book took that a lot farther and By creating the ups and downs of emotions and planting details in such a way that engages a reader, Rowling did a brilliant job which is not easy and not everyone has that capability to do that. I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend this book to everyone because, I am the type who hates to read but I read this in just two days and I think if I enjoyed it. I am sure people who love or hate to read would surely do or feel the same!
